"New West is a next-generation media company dedicated to the culture, economy, politics, environment and lifestyle of the Rocky Mountain West." New West offers online news about the region, a print magazine, and events and conferences which promote understanding of the Rocky Mountain West.
New West offers unpaid media internships with each of its local sites and with its headquarters in Missoula. Internships are offered in summer (application deadline April 15), fall (application deadline July 1), and spring (application deadline November 1).
