The Center sponsors one to two conferences each academic year that explore different aspects of the study of the West and involve scholars, journalists, business leaders, and policy-makers.
Colloquia in the North American West
This monthly speakers' series provides opportunities for scholars to discuss works-in-progress with a broad audience and are open to all members of the Stanford community.
Special Events
Open to the Stanford community and members of the public, these events include nationally prominent speaker appearances, expert panel discussions, student seminars and presentations, and events in the performing and visual arts.
Co-Sponsored Events
