Internships Overview
The Internship Program at the Bill Lane Center for the American West provides opportunities for students to enhance their knowledge of the past, present and future of the American West.
Internships for Stanford Students
The Center sponsors pre-arranged internships for currently enrolled Stanford students and graduating seniors in a variety of organizations throughout the West. Most of these internships are full-time, away from campus during the summer. Students have worked in fields such as archeology, museum studies, archives, art, ethnography, historical research, ecology and estuary research, landscape history, media, and law.
