Elle M. Stuart

Former Research Assistant
2012 - 2012
B.A. Candidate History and the Law; Minor in Political Science, 2014

Elle Stuart is a sophomore History and the Law major from Tucson, Arizona. Her love for Southwestern culture and the West in general first led her to the Bill Lane Center, where she works as a research assistant on the California Constitutional Reform project. This project also dovetails well with her academic interests, which is the development of American legal thought especially during the Founding period and the early 19th century. Other than that, she enjoys being involved in the Stanford Review, where she writes about political issues and their impact on Stanford students, and also being part of the Alexander Hamilton Society, which focuses on bringing foreign policy debates to the forefront of Stanford academic life.
