Madeline Weeks
B.A. Wellesley College, 2011 Economics and Spanish.
A graduate of Wellesley College in 2011, Madeline comes to the Center after a year at Morningstar Inc., an independent investment research organization and a financial data provider based in Chicago, where she was a Product Consultant and Investing Seminar Instructor. Madeline has also worked as a LUCE Intern at the Economist Magazine's Economist Group synthesizing research findings on the Chinese economy into self-directed blog articles, and as an Intern Program Officer at the Institute of International Education (IIE) planning professional appointments for international visitors traveling as guests of the U.S. Department of State.
While completing her B.A. with double major in Spanish and Economics, which included international study programs in Mexico, China and Spain, Madeline was also a public speaking tutor coordinator, resident assistant, and quantitative reasoning and statistics teaching assistant at Wellesley. Her senior thesis examined the role of chocolate in Mexican history, religion, and culture. As a California native, she is thrilled to be moving back West to join the Center.
