Class of 2014

Annie is one of the few (and the proud) studying Architectural Design at Stanford, and she hails from the beautiful bluegrass of Lexington, Kentucky. In fall 2012, she will be studying urban design and architecture at the Consortium for Advanced Studies in Barcelona.

At the Bill Lane Center, she works with Jon Christensen in the City-Nature project. Her research focuses on how modern transportation habits relate to park usage in America's 40 largest cities, trends in innovative transportation policies, and how to increase public transit usage, bike commuting, and carsharing. Annie worked at Getaround peer-to-peer carsharing in San Francisco for over one year, and is currently an intern at Berkeley-based Transit & Trails-- a non-profit focused on making outdoor recreation accessible via alternative transportation.

When she's not talking about Kentucky, buildings, or bicycles, you can find Annie drawing, practicing handstands, writing non-fiction, or hitting the roads with the Stanford Triathlon Team.
