B.S. Candidate Earth Systems, 2014

Jared Naimark is a junior majoring in Earth Systems.  He is excited to join the Bill Lane Center as an RA on the City Nature project, in which his research questions focus on the link between the environment and human rights, access to ecosystem services, and environmental justice.  Jared was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, where he grew to love the beauty of the desert and the West.  At Stanford, Jared is very involved in human rights and environmental advocacy through student groups like STAND and Students for a Sustainable Stanford (SSS).  He also loves to play jazz saxophone, IM soccer, and to spend time at Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve where he is a docent.
