B.A. Candidate in History, 2014

Jennifer Farman is a History major from Davis, California. As one of twelve students in the Water in the West Sophomore College Program sponsored by Bill Lane last summer, she developed an interest in the history, law, and politics involved in the West’s complicated environmental issues. Her time spent exploring the Colorado River and water management sparked a new passion for water usage and scarcity issues. Last summer Jennifer worked with the California Rural Legal Assistance Foundation, where she worked on projects that addressed the legal issues facing those living in impoverished rural areas. This summer she will be working on the City Nature project and researching the environmental challenges that face rapidly growing cities.
