Kylie Gordon

After piloting the digital media associate program for Stanford’s central communications office from 2014 to 2016, Kylie Gordon returned to campus in the role of strategic communications associate for the Bill Lane Center in the fall of 2019. In her current position, Kylie works to develop and refine social media strategy, tell the story of the Bill Lane Center across multiple digital platforms, and share the Center’s research, events and initiatives with broad audiences.

As a writer, Kylie has enjoyed creating stories and programs in many formats: on the radio, as an intern for KQED Forum; live, at The Commonwealth Club of California as an East Bay program producer; and digitally, at Stanford, where she crafted social media campaigns that showcased the university’s groundbreaking research and innovation. In spite of her background in all things digital, Kylie still appreciates relics of the old world, like a paper notebook and a nice pen.

Kylie earned a bachelor’s from Stanford in humanities with a focus on modern thought and literature. She has a master’s in creative writing from Northwestern University.
