Melina Walling is a graduate student pursuing her M.A. in Earth Systems with an emphasis on multimedia journalism. As a member of the Stanford Class of 2020, she earned a B.A. in English with an interdisciplinary concentration in photography and a minor in history. She has previously reported for the USA TODAY Network in the Eastern Pennsylvania region, produced podcasts for the Stanford Storytelling Project, and worked as an editorial intern at STANFORD Magazine. She also spent the summer of 2019 as a Bill Lane Center intern in Prescott, Arizona.
