Olivia Popp

Olivia is a recent graduate of Stanford’s Program in Science, Technology and Society (STS), where she designed her own concentration in the ethics and imaginaries of science/technology and completed an honors thesis on an archival ethnography of early Cold War history. Her research interests encompass the anthropology and sociology of politics, security and law.

Olivia is also an avid arts writer, theatermaker and filmmaker whose work on the American West includes a short VR documentary on dogsledding in Northern California. In her free time, she enjoys writing plays, longboarding and trying coffee and tea from around the world.
