Prateek Joshi
Graduate Research Assistant
B.S. Mechanical Engineering, Brown University
Prateek Joshi is a Master’s candidate in the Civil and Environmental Engineering department, focusing on sustainable energy infrastructure. He is leading a research project which aims to reduce the occurrences of utility-caused wildfires through a regional data system. At Stanford, Prateek is a 2020 Shultz Fellow in the Precourt Institute for Energy, is a teaching assistant for "CEE 107A/207A: Understanding Energy", and is a 2021 RELP (Rising Environmental Leaders Program) Fellow in the Woods Institute for the Environment. Prateek received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Brown University and has previously worked at an energy/sustainability consulting company and a commercial solar business.
