Tia is a senior from Austin, Texas majoring in Human Biology with a concentration in Food Systems and Public Health and minoring in Spanish. Tia was first introduced to the Bill Lane Center through her participation in the 2016 Sophomore College on natural resource management on Native American land. At the Center, Tia designs programs and promotional materials, coordinates and conducts outreach at events, and provides administrative support. While at Stanford, Tia has studied in Santiago, Chile, and Oaxaca, Mexico, and spent her summers working on food security, ethical journalism, and health policy. In her free time, Tia likes to read, paint, and spend time outdoors.
