The California-Global Energy, Water and Infrastructure Innovation Initiative at Stanford University is directed by Blas L. Pérez Henríquez and sponsored by the Bill Lane Center for the American West. The program focuses on regional, low-carbon development opportunities and works to advance a new, clean economy through novel technological, business, policy, and social solutions.

Local Governance Summer Institute
The Local Governance Summer Institute (LGSI) offers city managers, county executives, regional directors, and other senior local government officials the opportunity to exchange and acquire tools for improving local government performance and enhancing prospective analytical capacity to innovate and anticipate societal change. This program will strengthen individual capacities in public finance, negotiating and strategic planning skills, while exposing participants to innovative solutions and technological advance supporting the emergence of smarter, more resilient, sustainable, and equitable communities in California and around the world.

Mexico Clean Economy 2050
Mexico Clean Economy 2050 (MCE2050) is a multi-stakeholder and multidisciplinary program that aims to advance innovative technological, business, policy, and social solutions for a new clean economy and a carbon neutral future in our region. It is a neutral platform intended to inform and support low-carbon development and sustainable entrepreneurship in Mexico and North America. MCE2050 at Stanford partners with key research groups and labs across campus and is supported by trusted industry and government allies. It is a regional program of the California-Global Energy, Water & Infrastructure Innovation Initiative.
